What is the World Cup Club?
The WCC is a Trust created to raise funds on an annual basis to reduce the cost burdens on Ontario amateur alpine ski racers aged 6 years and up.
The funds give these competitors the training time and resources necessary to compete against the other provinces and countries that have government support and geographic advantages compared to Ontario.
Thirty years ago Ontario skiers dominated the National Team and International events, we have fallen behind and hope with help from the WCC Ontario can return to the top levels of skiing in Canada.
What are the funds from the WCC intended for?
The WCC funds are intended for projects that will help reduce the cost of racing and give Ontario athletes an advantage including:

Sport Science
- Development Camps
- Scholastic support
- Demonstration Camps and races for younger aged racers with Ontario and National team members.
- Coaching resources
- Bursaries for athletes (based on a confidential means test)
Who can join The World Cup Club?
Individuals and corporations join the WCClub. To become a full member of the WCC, the cost is $365 a year (or $1/day).
Becoming a member includes a member gift upon joining, a full tax receipt and the chance to win an all expense paid ski vacation (details vary by year on the trip). To sign up click here and complete the Pledge Sheet - thank you!
Is my personal donation paying for administration costs?
No – all personal donations go "on snow". Administration costs are paid for by the corporate sponsors of the WCC.

If I donate to the fund, do I get a tax receipt?
Yes, all donations are 100% tax deductible.

How much money has been raised to date?
To date close to $550,000 has been raised.
Who can apply to receive funding from the Trust?
Alpine Ontario athletes and Alpine Ontario Ski clubs.
Is there an Annual Report so members can see where the money went?
Yes, the fiscal year end of the WCC is April 30th and the WCC audited financials for 2010 and 2009 can be viewed on the Alpine Ontario website under ABOUT AOA/Financials. This report will show you how much was raised and how much was spent, and on what. CLICK HERE>>
